On October 7th, as part of the “National Day of Contemporary Art,” the contemporary art exhibition DIVINARTE was inaugurated in the evocative “Negramanti” hall. This transformed the Feudi di Guagnano winery into a true art gallery! Among the artists were some of the most important names in the national and international art scene, such as Bruno Munari and Andy Warhol.
In the heart of the Negroamaro lands, the Feudi di Guagnano winery opens its doors to contemporary art: thanks to the collaboration with the Galleria Immaginaria of Florence, more than 40 artists are showcasing their works, paintings, and sculptures, alongside barrels and bottles.
The exhibition, inaugurated by Madame Dominique Rimbaud, president of the Biscozzi-Rimbaud Foundation, and Daniela Chionna, was open until January 8, 2025 (9:00 AM – 1:00 PM / 3:00 PM – 7:00 PM) and offered visitors a tangible view of some currents in contemporary art from Italy and beyond. In fact, alongside works by established artists, there were also pieces by emerging artists from Puglia.

DIVINARTE fully participates in the numerous initiatives organized by AMACI (Association of Italian Contemporary Art Museums), whose theme this year is “accessibility,” understood as the wide-ranging opportunity for the public to enjoy contemporary art in increasingly diverse and unusual locations and ways.
Indeed, the artworks are placed on opposing rows of barrels, creating a gallery within a gallery: the viewing of the canvases and paintings happens simultaneously with the enjoyment of the wine aromas and, why not, the tasting of the wines themselves.
